Materials
25oz canssolid white tuna packed in water drained well
1Cupchopped celery stalks and leaves
2Green OnionsChopped
1/2 Cupnon-fat Greek yogurt
2Large Tomatoes
8Thin Slices of Avacado
4slices(1-oz. each) reduced-fat Swiss cheese
1/4-1/2 tspLauri Lee's Low Sodium Garlic & Herb Seasoning Blendseason to taste, can substitute for Lauri Lee's Ultra Low Sodium Adobo seasoning blend or even Lauri Lee's Ultra Low Sodium Taco Seasoning if you want an extra kick of flavor!
Instructions
Heat oven to broil.
In a bowl, combine the tuna, chopped celery, green onion and Greek yogurt and Lauri Lee's Ultra Low Sodium Garlic & Herb seasoning blend until well combined.
Slice 2 thick slices of tomato per serving from the tomato. Place them on an oven safe sheet tray.
Lay 2 avocado slices over each of the tomatoes.
Divide the tuna salad evenly between the tomato slices.
Top each tuna mound with a slice of cheese.
Place the tomatoes under the broiler until the cheese is melty and browned, about 2 to 3 minutes.
