Materials

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 tbsp Lauri Lee's Ultra Low Sodium Taco Seasoning Blend
  • 3/4 cup water
  • 4 ea Low sodium white corn tortillas
  • 1/4 cup Canola oil
  • 8 Tbsp Lauri Lee's easy refried beans click link below for easy recipe
  • 4 Tbsp Low sodium salsa
  • 4 Tbsp Shredded cheddar cheese
  • 4 Leaves Organic Lettuce chopped
  • 1 vine ripened tomato chopped

Instructions

  • Brown ground beef in a skillet over medium heat. Once ground beef is cooked through, drain grease and return to skillet

  • Add 3/4 cup of water with 1 tbsp of Lauri Lee’s Ultra-Low Sodium Taco Seasoning and simmer on reduced heat for about 5 min

  • While the ground beef is simmering, fry white corn tortillas FLAT in a little bit of canola oil to crisp up.
    1/4 cup Canola oil, 4 ea Low sodium white corn tortillas
  • Once tortillas are cooked, lay on a plate with paper towels to absorb and reduce oil.  
  • Spread beans on tortilla, add taco meat, cheese, salsa, lettuce, tomato and sour cream.  
    1 lb ground beef, 8 Tbsp Lauri Lee's easy refried beans, 4 Tbsp Shredded cheddar cheese, 4 Leaves Organic Lettuce, 1 vine ripened tomato, 4 Tbsp Low sodium salsa
